How to use a TC instead of the TW Ubee DDW3611 Router?
1. Connect to the Ubee wifi network.
2. Browse to 192.168.0.1 to check that you have the correct access point.
3. Browse to 192.168.0.1/TlModeChange.asp (thats a lower case “L”).
4. Enter the username and password user/user.
5. Change the device to “bridge mode” and save. The device will restart.
6. Disconnect your PC from the Ubee wifi and power cycle the Ubee. This will free up any IP addresses that the Ubee assigns to connected devices.
7. Connect the TC to the Ubee with a network cable (Line1 of the Ubee to the Wan port of the TC).
8. Connect to the TC via Airport utility, be sure the TC has an IP and is configured to give out settings according to how you want the TC to behave.
9. You can still connect to the Ubee, but now at 192.168.100.1
10. Speed test your connection, remove the Ubee antenna if necessary to remove interference.
11. Log back into the Ubee, change the wifi network name and the default password (write the default password on a piece of tape and stick it to the bottom of the Ubee along with the IP).
