1). A horse can carry 20% of its weight w/o causing injury. Camels can carry 40% of their weight w/o causing injury.
2). A horse eats approx. 20 lbs of grain a day. A camel eats approx. 15lb or grain a day.
3). A horses average speed is 4mph. A camels average speed is 3mph.
4). A horse can travel 25-100 miles a day. A camel can travel 20-70 miles a day. Both of these ranges assume the animal would not need rest days after the journey. Pushing the animal out of these ranges risks injury or a need for rest days to recuperate.
5). Horse water intake:

* Assumes animal is not being more active than normal and the weather is within the usual norms. Doubling and animals activity would raise these numbers outside of the ranges.

6). Camel water intake:

Camels can go 5-7 days w/o food or water (25% body weight loss).
Camels can go 17 days w/o food or water before death (% to activity modifiers apply: see below).

9). Stamina Chart

Example 1: A horse that can travel 100 miles per day under normal conditions * can travel without food or water for 200 miles (100 + 75 + 25).

Example 2: A camel that can travel 40 miles per day under normal conditions * can travel without food or water for 420 miles (40 x 3) + (30 x 2) + (20 x 5) + (10 x 7)
* animal capacity not exceeded (assumes rider and gear is present)
